| In
August, 2022 I received a phone call from the Maritime Museum of
British Columbia saying I had been nominated and won the SS Beaver Medal Award for my excellent contribution through art for the province of British Columbia, This is a prestigious award to win! All the medals have a piece of copper from the wrecked SS Beaver in them. These awards have been given out for ten years now, usually four per year. Recipients are from different trades in the marine industry. Click here for more info about the SS Beaver Medal Award Presentation date was December 6, 2022 at 14:00 hrs at the Ward room HMCS Esquimalt. Admiral John Anderson (retired) made the presentations.
